North Dakota Addiction Interventions Facts & Resources

Given the low overall population of North Dakota, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to see that only about 4,000 people receive treatment in the state per year for their substance abuse problems. However, that number is more shocking when compared to the fact that there are more than 60,000 people in the state who need some form of help for alcohol and other drug problems.

Closing the gap between the number of people who need help and those who actually receive it has been a major concern for recovery advocates in North Dakota and elsewhere for a very long time. Some strides have been made, but far too many people go untreated.

InterventionHelpline was created as a resource for people to find help for their loved ones. We offer educational articles as well as lists of local resources. You can also call us to speak with an intervention and treatment counselor at any time to get personalized assistance.
