What Comes After Treatment?

More often than not, the more invested someone is in their recovery, the better it will be. This can translate into number of hours, days, weeks and months spent in treatment, starting with the most intense first and then gradually tapering off over time as sobriety becomes the new norm.

Eventually the people committed to recovery reach a point where they no longer need ongoing treatment, but they know addiction resources and aftercare treatment is available to them if they ever need help during difficult times in the future to prevent relapse.

The continuum of care doesn’t stop after treatment, and having a solid recovery plan in place with goals and objectives helps people focus on their continual improvement.
