Charles Thompson began his professional career in the addiction field in 2016. He has held several positions, including patient service management, behavioral health technician, intake specialist, and admissions management. This varied background has given him a unique ability to see the entire recovery process from start to finish and to think several steps ahead.
Throughout his career, Charles has found that helping the patient is only a piece of the puzzle. The missing component has always been the lack of attention placed on educating and guiding the person’s support system and family. Charles discovered a true passion and ability to work with the family, ultimately giving their loved one the best chances of long-term recovery. Over the years, he has undoubtedly helped hundreds of families develop a comprehensive healing and recovery process.
As a child of alcoholic parents and being in long term recovery himself, Charles has experienced firsthand the family dysfunction that comes with addiction. His personal background and professional experience make him a natural fit for the Family First Intervention team.
Charlie is married and the father of a 3-year-old son. He enjoys attending church, family vacations, and helping others find a new way of life.
